Beautiful rural home which needed complete interior design .  The layout was completely internally remodeled to accommodate the new owners  requirements.  Our clients wanted an elegant but practical home for their two children and two dogs.  It also required an area for professional entertaining which could be sectioned off from the rest of the home. 

 

The Family room required practical fabrics.  To allow the family to enjoy the company of their dogs.  Large velvet sofas with practical oak solid furniture for the children to sit and finish homework.  Finishes and colour for the whole of the ground floor were inspired by the ample grounds to the property -  using a palette of  grey/greens and browns, whilst the rooms had very  different uses, the colours unite the ground floor rooms. To reinstate a feeling of authenticity panelling was used in the Dining Room with a traditional panelled ceiling.  New classical fireplaces were installed  in all the redesigned rooms.   The Sitting Room houses some of the client's existing artifacts and artwork. 

Upstairs high shine fabrics and calming  colours of bronze and green  against a calming paisley wallpaper create an altogether calming ambience.
